A drainage bag for receiving bodily waste, such as an ostomy bag, comprises an outer bag of material soluble in cold water,e.g. polyvinyl alcohol, and an inner bag of material insoluble in water at ambient temperature and body temperature but soluble in organic solvent,e.g. 2-oxepanone polymer (polycaprolactone). When the bag (and contents) are to be disposed of, appropriate organic solvent (e.g. benzyl alcohol) is applied to the inner bag. The bag can then be placed in a WC bowl and is flushable after about 1-2 minutes.

L'invention porte sur une poche de drainage, telle qu'une poche pour stomie, destinée à recueillir les déchets biologiques et comprenant une poche externe, constituée d'un matériau soluble dans l'eau froide tel que le poly(alcool vinylique), et une poche interne constituée d'un matériau insoluble dans l'eau, à température ambiante et à température du corps, mais soluble dans un solvant organique tel qu'un polymère 2-oxépanone (polycaprolactone). Lorsque la poche (et son contenu) sont à jeter, un solvant organique approprié (tel que l'alcool benzylique) est appliqué sur la poche interne. La poche peut ensuite être placée dans une cuvette de W.-C où elle se désintégrera au bout de 1 à 2 minutes.
