A drainage catheter hub (12) for use in connection with a drainage catheter (10) to receive and secure a suture (14) therein, wherein the hub (12) includes: (i) a housing (18) having a channel (56) to accommodate the suture (14) therein; (ii) a bistable locking mechanism (22) positioned in the housing (18) and being adapted to provide selective securement of the suture (14); and (iii) a resilient outer layer (20) utilized in connection with the bistable locking mechanism (22) and coupled to the housing (18). The bistable locking mechanism (22) is configured to: (i) allow movement of the suture (14) when the bistable locking mechanism (22) is in a first position; and (ii) minimize axial movement of the suture (14) when the bistable locking mechanism (22) is in a second position. The resilient outer layer (20) is adapted to allow a user to actuate the bistable locking mechanism (22) between the first and second positions to selectively secure and release the suture (14).
La présente invention concerne un raccord de cathéter de drainage (12) destiné à être utilisé avec un cathéter de drainage (10) pour recevoir et fixer une suture (14) dans celui-ci, ledit raccord (12) comprenant : (i) un logement (18) comportant un canal (56) destiné à recevoir la suture (14) ; (ii) un mécanisme de verrouillage bistable (22) placé dans le logement (18) et conçu pour fournir une fixation sélective de la suture (14) ; et (iii) une couche extérieure résiliente (20) utilisée avec le mécanisme de verrouillage bistable (22) et couplée au logement (18). Le mécanisme de verrouillage bistable (22) est configuré pour : (i) permettre le mouvement de la suture (14) lorsque le mécanisme de verrouillage bistable (22) est dans une première position ; et (ii) minimiser le mouvement axial de la suture (14) lorsque le mécanisme de verrouillage bistable (22) est dans une seconde position. La couche extérieure résiliente (20) est conçue pour permettre à un utilisateur d~actionner le mécanisme de verrouillage bistable (22) entre la première et la seconde position pour fixer et libérer de manière sélective la suture (14).
