A container that provides for drainage of fluid underneath a product label on the container is provided. The container comprises a central label portion, a bottom portion below the central label portion, and at least one drainage port (40). Each drainage port (40) comprises two ridges (20) forming a groove (10) through which fluid can drain from the central label portion to the bottom portion of the container. At a cross-sectional area of a container at the level of the drainage ports (40), the container has an outer surface (50) at a radial distance from the longitudinal axis of the container. Preferably, each groove (10) is located at the same radial distance as that of the outer surface (50) of the container.

L'invention porte sur un contenant conçu pour permettre l'écoulement d'un liquide au-dessous de la partie réservée à l'étiquette.
