Abstract: A fitting for fastening a front panel to metal drawer sides . In its vertical web adjacent the front panel each drawer side is provided with a recess open towards the front and having a vertically projecting nose in which a holding member of the front panel is hung. A slot which is stamped out of the drawer side and into which a nose of a clamping plate projects, is disposed behind the recess . The clamping plate can be clamped to a holding plate , which is perpendicular to the front panel and which is secured to the front panel . The holding plate and the clamping plate , which together form the holding member , receive the vertical web of the drawer side between them.
