ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A drawer comprises back and side wall panels which incorporate upper and lower sections interconnected by a web defining a longitudinal recess. The recesses in the side wall panels are adapted to engage drawer runners mounted in a cabinet or the like in which the drawer is to be supported when in use. The assembly includes stop devices slidably received into slots formed into opposit ends of the longitudinal recess appearing in the back wall panel of the drawer. The stop devices are oper- able between an extended position in which portions of the stop device project across the recess in the side wall panel so as to engage with abutment members carried by the drawer runner and a retracted position in which the stop devices are pulled clear or the longitudinal recesses in the side wall panels so that the drawer may be removed from the cabinet. The stop devices are retained against removal in both their extended and retracted positions.
