ABSTRACT Drawing assembly (10) for a shearing bench, which is suitable to feed and position at least one section in a shearing bench consisting of two shears (11-12) located respectively upstream and downstream of the drawing assembly (10), which comprises upper (18) and lower (19) rotary facing units, the upper unit (18) consisting of an endless chain (20) bearing a plurality of supports (21) to which are anchored thrust elements (22) arranged in a direction normal to the endless chain (20), while the lower unit (19) consists of an endless chain (23) bearing a plurality of supports (29) to which are secured partition elements (25), which are suitable to contain one or more sections in a substantially vertical direction and form a plurality of compartments (26) normal to the endless chain (20) and cooperating directly with the thrust elements (22) being inserted into the compartments (26) so as to clamp the sections arranged therein, the direction of feed of-the units (18-19) being two-way.
