According to the invention, a drawing carriage (16) is made to execute a forward stroke and a return stroke alternately, along longitudinal guides on a drawing bench (11), between two opposite drawing heads (12), each disposed in one end area of the said bench (11) and each including at least one draw plate, by means of driving horizontally with a reciprocating motion. At least one piece to be drawn is pulled in each forward stroke and in each return stroke by the said drawing carriage (16), being made to pass through a corresponding draw plate in the drawing head (12) from which the said carriage (16) is made to move away, in this way, the carriage (16) executes working strokes in both directions of horizontal movement along the corresponding guides, causing at least one piece to be drawn in each working stroke.
Selon l'invention, un chariot d'étirage (16) opère alternativement un mouvement vers l'avant et un mouvement vers l'arrière, le long de guides longitudinaux sur un banc d'étirage (11), entre deux têtes d'étirage opposées (12), chacune disposée dans une zone d'extrémité du banc (11) et chacune comprenant au moins une plaque d'étirage, au moyen d'un entraînement horizontal à mouvement alternatif. Au moins une pièce à étirer est tirée à chaque mouvement vers l'avant et chaque mouvement vers l'arrière par le chariot d'étirage (16), qui la fait passer par une plaque d'étirage correspondante dans la tête d'étirage (12), à partir de laquelle le chariot (16) se déplace. De la sorte, le chariot (16) effectue des mouvements dans les deux directions horizontales le long des guides correspondants, étirant au moins une pièce à chaque course de travail.
