ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Dredger comprising a floating body and a boom extend- ing forwardly and carrying at its front end a disintegrating tool the said boom being pivoted at its rear end on the floating body to assume a working position in which it is immersed to a greater or lesser extent and a raised position of rest. The boom is suspended so as allow its position to be adjusted. The said the boom comprises two parts; a first part pivoted at its rear end about a horizontal axis on the floating body, while a platform is mounted on its front end and a second part mounted movably on the platform. Means are provided for maintaining the platform horizontal, and the mounting means comprising a mounting for pivoting about a vertical axis.
