A dressing for medical treatment is provided by the present invention; this dressing is contracted in such a manner that a nonwoven fabric and a light-transmissive, flexible plastics film are laminated, wherein at least the nonwoven fabric is embossed, and a light-transmissive adhesive layer is provided over the whole surface of the dressing, on the side of the plastics film opposite to that to which the nonwoven fabric is adhered. the non- woven fiber and the plastics film are both flexible and the dressing can thus follow the movement of the skin. In addition, one can readily observe the skin surface beneath the dressing.
