ABSTRACT A device for use by physically handicapped persons to facilitate donning and removing socks or stockings. A pair of small rods or the like are rolled into the top of the sock and securely and releasably held in place by a pair of spring clips each attached to an extension arm. The user pulls the sock over the foot and when in place releases the spring clips and removes the rods. One of the extension arms is preferably provided with a flattened end to facilitate removal of the sock and the other may be provided with a hook to facilitate retrie- val of a discarded sock.
