A dressing and an epidermal lifting mechanism for use with an application to a predetermined epidermal surface and methods of using same. The epidermal lifting mechanism comprises a strip of material having a first end portion of a predetermined shape, a second end portion of a predetermined shape, and middle portion coupling the first end portion to the second end portion. The first end portion and the second end portion each include a side including an adhesive layer. An overlaying, non~adhesive barrier layer may be located between a portion of the adhesive layer and an end portion.
L'invention concerne un mécanisme de pansage et de soulèvement de l'épiderme, destiné à être appliqué sur une surface épidermique prédéterminée. L'invention concerne également des procédés d'utilisation dudit mécanisme. Ce mécanisme comprend une bande de matériau présentant une première partie extrémité de forme prédéterminée, une deuxième partie extrémité de forme prédéterminée, et une partie centrale reliant la première et la deuxième partie extrémité. Les première et deuxième parties extrémités comportent chacune un côté comprenant une couche adhésive. Une couche barrière, non adhésive, sus-jacente peut être disposée entre une partie de ladite couche adhésive et une partie extrémité.
