ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A continuous sheet of dried edible seaweed and a method for manufacturing the same and a container for storing the same. The method is comprised of crushing edible seaweeds into fine flakes to prepare a suspension of fibrous structure spreading the suspension uniformly onto an endless metal network running continuously, forming the spread seaweeds into a continuous sheet, dehydrating and drying the continuous sheet, and cutting the dried continuous sheet into a predetermined width and length. The container has a spool having flanges at its both ends on which the sheet is wound and a closed container for receiving the spool which is formed with an outlet orifice at a side of the outer surface thereof for extracting the dried edible seaweed.
