A drier for wood chips and other bulk materials includes an incinerator for indirectly heating a drying apparatus. The drier operates in a circulatory gas operation with a high water vapor load. All drier exhaust gases are fed to the incinerator and thermally post-combusted there. The drying apparatus includes two drier lines. The first line is heated with the heat of the inflowing vapor, the heat being removed from the exhaust gas flow in a gas-gas heat exchanger and supplied to the vapor feedback. The second drier line includes a heat register, whose heat is extracted from the exhaust gases in a heater, which is arranged directly after the incinerator and reduces the exhaust gas temperature to approximately 500° to 600°. The gas-gas heat exchanger can thus be embodied as a simple sheet metal structure.
Séchoir pour copeaux de bois et autres matériaux en vrac. Ce séchoir est notamment constitué d'un incinérateur permettant de réchauffer indirectement un appareil de séchage. Ce séchoir fonctionne par circulation de gaz avec une forte teneur en vapeur d'eau. Tous les gaz d'extraction du séchoir sont acheminés vers l'incinérateur, où ils subissent une post-combustion thermique. L'appareil de séchage est composé de trois lignes de séchage. La première ligne est réchauffée par la vapeur introduite dans l'échangeur, la chaleur du flux de gaz étant enlevée dans un échangeur de chaleur gaz-gaz et apportée à la vapeur revenant dans l'échangeur. La deuxième ligne de séchage comporte une bouche pour la chaleur qui provient des gaz d'extraction du réchauffeur, lequel, placé directement après l'incinérateur, réduit la température du gaz d'extraction de 500 à 600 degrés. L'échangeur de chaleur gaz-gaz peut ainsi n'être fait que d'une structure de tôle.
