ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A drill plough having single disc shares mounted rotatably in holders adapted to move in a vertical plane, the share discs forming an acute angle with the direction of travel, the depth to which the said discs penetrate into the ground being controlled by depth guide rollers. In order to obtain satisfactory and complete laying of the seed in the furrows produced by the share discs even under difficult operating conditions and with cluttered surfaces, plates attached to the said holders are arranged on the insides, running at an angle to the direction of travel, of the share discs. The said plates project deeply into the furrows produced by the single disc shares, the lower edges of the said plates being higher than the lowermost points of the respective furrows. According to a preferred design, cleaning cams are arranged on the in- sides of the said share discs.
