This device is an improvement for the operation of drill presses. It holds down the work piece without any additional clamping devices cluttering the drill press table. It also prevents wood splintering by pressing the work piece towards another piece of scrap wood underneath. It holds the work piece firmly and steadily (hands free) for accurate drilling applications. It also clamps wood, metal, glass or plastic for any gluing laminations as well as other jig devices for repetitive or special drilling applications. A fence can be installed and held in position by the drill press profi for the work piece to be moved against without obstruction. The drill press profi can be made as a kit or it can be manufactured to be part of the drill press.
