Abstract of the Disclosure A drill steel guiding and centralizing mechanism comprising a body and a first and a second jaw connected to other ends of two-armed angled levers. The angled levers are turnably connected to the body by joints at the corner points between the arms. The ends of the free arms of the angled levers are connected to each other by a connecting rod, the ends of which are connected to the ends of the arms by swivel joints. The second angled lever has an extension which is affected by the power mechanism substantially parallelly to the connecting rod. Thereby the jaws can be opened and closed by the power mechanism exactly centralized in relation to the drill steel.
