The invention relates to a drill comprising a body (1) and an exchangeable cutting insert (3) which is located in a cavity (4) which is open towards the drill tip (16) and passes through the body perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (2) of same. The cutting insert (3) contacts the side walls (5) of the cavity (4) on two diametrically opposed bearing faces. Between each bearing face of the cutting insert (3) and side wall (5) of the cavity (4) a groove (8) is situated which extends towards the longitudinal axis (2) and in which a clamping wedge is held with a form fit and friction fit and cooperates with the body (1) and the cutting insert (3) in the manner of a self lock acting in the direction of the drill tip (16).
Foret doté d'un corps (1) et d'un insert de coupe (3) interchangeable placé dans un évidement (4) qui est ouvert en direction de la pointe (16) du foret et s'étend dans le corps transversalement par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (2) dudit corps. L'insert de coupe (3) repose sur les parois latérales (5) de l'évidement (4) par l'intermédiaire de deux surfaces d'appui diamétralement opposées. Entre chacune des surfaces d'appui de l'insert de coupe (3) et une paroi latérale (5) correspondante de l'évidement (4) se trouve une gorge (8) qui s'étend dans le sens de l'axe longitudinal (2) et dans laquelle est installé par liaison de forme et de frottement un montant en forme de coin qui coopère avec le corps (1) et l'insert de coupe (3) à la manière d'un élément de blocage automatique à action en direction de la pointe (16) de foret.
