Abstract The invention relates to drilling equipment, particular- ly for drilling shot holes, comprising a carriage for advancing and withdrawing the drill pipe formed from a plurality of drill stems, an advance system, a pressure-operated drive system for the drill pipe, a flushing head that is arranged on the carriage and which can be moved either with or apart from the drill pipe, and an hydraulically operated in-hole hammer arranged on the front end of the drill pipe. To provide drilling equipment of the afore- named kind which allows the rods to be changed simply and quickly when using an hydraulically operated in-hole hammer arranged at the front end of the drill pipe, it is proposed in accordance with the invention that the pressure-operated drive system (15) of the drill pipe transmit a back and forth swivelling movement to the drill pipe. The pivoting angle of the drill pipe is 180 - 360°. An oscillating motor with a gear system (16) is used for the drive system (15). It is thus possible to accommodate the lines required for acting on the in-hole hammer in the annular space between the drill pipe and the wall of the drilled hole or in indentations of the drill pipe itself so that they need not be disconnected when the rods are changed.
