Abstract of the Disclosure Drilling mast means are pivotally connected to base beam means which rest on the earth's surface. Set back tower means are pivotally connected at one end to the drilling mast means and at the other end to the base beam means with rotary table support means connected to said set back tower means. Drawworks means are supported on the base beam means and cable means connect the drawworks means and drilling mast means for raising the mast and the set back tower means to an upright position whereupon the rotary table support means carried by the set back tower means is positioned transversely of the upright drilling mast. -1-
