ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A degasser apparatus comprises a hollow separator body having lower and upper openings, respectively, for admitting gas-cut liquid into said body and for discharging gas and purged liquid therefrom. Flotation means are provided for supporting said hollow body in a container of gas-cut liquid having a free surface with said lower opening substan- tially uniformly immersed with respect to said free surface. With this arrangement, the apparatus is uniformly positioned with respect to the liquid level for uniform action as the level drops or rises.
