ABSTRACT. A drinking assembly is disclosed which comprises a glass and a holder, such glass and holder being easy to package and each of them capable of being nested into similar items. The glass and the holder are releasably securable to each other. The side wall of the glass comprises protrusions which cooperate with indentations cut in the edge of the opening provided in the support surface of the holder. The bottom end of the glass is inserted into an opening so that the protrusions slide pass the indentations of the opening and rest under the support surface of the holder. The glass is then rotated so that the identations hold snuggly onto the holder. The holder may also serve as a coaster and may be apposed with indicia for advertisement.
