2031525 9013491 PCTABS00002 The present invention relates to a device for a drinking container (12). The container (12) includes a tubular body (14) having a closed end (16), an open end (18) and a longitudinal axis. A lid (20) is secured to the open end (18) and having an orifice (22). A closure tab (24) is pivotally connected to the lid (20) and temporarily closes the orifice (22). An actuating member (26) is pivotally secured to the lid (20) and is being manually actuated for moving the closure tab (24) into the interior of the body to open the orifice (22) in the lid (20). The device includes a conduit (36) disposed within the body. A means (30) is disposed within the body and adapted to engage the body for supporting the conduit (36) substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the body. Another means forms a float (38) for elevating the conduit (36) through the orifice (22) in the lid (20) when the tab (24) is deflected into the interior of the body to open the orifice (22).
