An improved drip irrigation hose (10) is provided. The hose (10) has a water supply passage (26) and a plurality of flow regulating channels (24) manufactured into the hose (10) that are smaller than the water supply passage (26). The flow regulating channels (24) each comprise a predesignated geometry to provide a desired discharge rate at a given pressure, an inlet section (28) comprising one or more openings connecting the water supply passage to that flow regulating channel, and an outlet section (32) comprising one or more openings connecting that flow regulating channel to the exterior of the hose. The plurality of flow regulating channels (24) have at least two different geometries to provide at least two different discharge rates at the given pressure. This invention has value to the irrigation designer in that it allows the designer to select emitter characteristics depending on the position of the emitter in the field.
Cette invention concerne un tuyau d'irrigation (10) au goutte à goutte amélioré. Ce tuyau (10) possède un passage (26) pour l'arrivée d'eau et une pluralité de canaux régulateurs de débit (24) incorporés au tuyau (10) lors de la fabrication, lesdits canaux étant plus petits que le passage pour l'arrivée d'eau (26). Ces canaux régulateurs de débit (24) présentent chacun une géométrie définie de façon à fournir un débit souhaité à une pression donnée. Une section d'admission (28) comprend au moins une ouverture qui connecte le passage pour l'arrivée d'eau à ce canal régulateur de débit, et une section de sortie (32) comprend au moins une ouverture qui connecte ledit canal à l'extérieur du tuyau. La pluralité de canaux régulateurs de débit (24) présentent au moins deux formes géométriques différentes de façon à fournir au moins deux débits différents pour une pression donnée. Cette invention présente un intérêt pour l'ingénieur chargé de l'irrigation en ce sens qu'elle permet à cet ingénieur de sélectionner des caractéristiques d'émission en fonction de la position de l'émetteur dans le champ.
