ABSTRACT A dripping set with an automatic-closing-pad float, in which a fixed pad seat is furnished in the lower part of a fluid reservoir; the fixed pad seat has a through hole; a movable pad float made of silicone is put above the fixed pad seat, and the pad float is able to float above the fixed pad seat by means of a fluid so as to maintain the through hole in open condition, and to let a fluid flow into a patient's vein. As soon as the fluid is drained away, the pad float will fall downwards as a result of having no floating force to support the float to close the through hole automatically, and then a given volume of fluid will remain in the fluid hose to prevent the blood in vein from flowing reversely, and to facilitate replacement of the drop bottle.
