The invention relates to a drive having a quick stop mechanism for a breech (3) or breech carrier which can be axially adjusted relative to a weapon barrel (1), said drive comprising at least one motor (2) or the like, a chain (5) on which at least two engaging cams (7) are mounted, the chain (6) being preferably arranged below the breech (3) and being guided around at least two sprocket wheels (5). A slide (8) is mounted in a guide at the bottom of the breech (3)/breech carrier so as to be displaceable at a right angle to the direction of fire, a groove (9) extending over the entire width thereof. The respective engaging cam (7) entrains the breech (3) in a forward motion in relation to the direction of fire or in a reverse motion once the shot is fired. The engaging cam (7) transporting the breech (3) forwards is displaced out from the groove (9) and is moved backwards without the breech (3) on the other weapon side, thereby allowing rest periods of the breech (3) in the forward end position. Once the shot is fired, the slide (8) is displaced to the other weapon side whereas it remains in the position in which it was put down by the engaging cam (7) when no shot is fired so that no further engaging cam (7) can entrain the breech (3) backwards.
La présente invention concerne un entraînement comprenant un dispositif d'arrêt instantané, destiné à une culasse (3) ou à un porte-culasse pouvant se déplacer en direction axiale par rapport au canon (1) d'une arme, l'entraînement présentant un moteur (2) ou analogue, une chaîne (6) à laquelle sont fixées au moins deux cames d'entraînement (7), la chaîne (6) étant disposée de préférence en dessous de la culasse (3) et passant autour d'au moins deux roues à chaîne (5). Un coulisseau (8) est monté dans un mécanisme de guidage sur le dessous de la culasse (3) ou du porte-culasse, pour pouvoir se déplacer transversalement à la direction de tir, une rainure (9) s'étendant sur toute la largeur dudit coulisseau. Par l'intermédiaire de cette rainure (9), la came d'entraînement (7) respective met en mouvement la culasse (3) dans la direction de tir vers l'avant ou après le tir vers l'arrière. Les temps d'arrêt de la culasse (3) dans la position terminale avant sont obtenus par le fait que la came d'entraînement (7) transportant la culasse (3) vers l'avant est sortie de la rainure (9), et déplacée vers l'arrière sans culasse (3) sur l'autre côté de l'arme. Lorsque le tir s'est effectué avec succès, le coulisseau (8) est alors poussé vers l'autre côté de l'arme, alors que, lorsque le tir n'a pas été déclenché, ledit coulisseau reste dans la position dans laquelle il a été mis par la came d'entraînement (7) de sorte qu'aucune autre came d'entraînement (7) ne peut entraîner la culasse (3) vers l'arrière.
