ABSTRACT Improvement to drive apparatuses, called "contra-angles", for rotary instruments used in bone surgery, especially in dental surgery. In a drive apparatus for instruments which is used in bone surgery, especially in dental surgery, the liquid supply tube (7) is surrounded, between the loca- tion of the upper part (13) of the instrument (6) and a limit stop (18) which is integral with the supply tube (7), at least when an instrument (6) is locked on the apparatus, by a sealing tubing (19) which is made of elastic material and whose length is such that, when an instrument (6) is in place, this tubing (19) is slightly compressed between the abovementioned limit stop (18) and the inlet orifice (8) of the instrument (6), and a sealing collar (20) made of elastic material is fitted on the casing (1) of the apparatus in such a way as to be compressed between the casing (1) and the shoulder (15) of the instrument (6) in place.
