A drive clutch assembly (30) having a fixed sheave (44) and a movable sheave (46) rotatable with the drive shaft (34) of engine (18) comprising a multi- staged speed responsive or displacement system. The speed responsive system initially applies a first displacement rate to the movable sheave (46) as it moves toward the fixed sheave (44) and applies a second displacement rate to the movable sheave (46) when the drive clutch assembly (30) reaches a predetermined rotational speed.

Ensemble embrayage moteur (30) muni d'une poulie fixe (44) et d'une poulie mobile (46) pouvant tourner avec l'arbre primaire (34) du moteur (18), constitué d'un système réagissant à la vitesse ou de déplacement multi-étagé.
