ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The vehicle has a caterpillar type travelling gear, whose tread is arranged on each side and can be driven separately by means of one hydraulic gear. A hydraulic pump group has its hydraulic pump means coupled to each other in series. The hydraulic pump groups is fixed to the vehicle chassis and has a common frame. The hydraulic motors for driving the driving wheels of the caterpillars are mounted on the common frame. Thus, unlike in other vehicles, it is possible to use fixed metal pipe lines as the pressure lines. In addition, the common frame can easily be removed from the chassis, so that the maintenance of the hydraulic gears is greatly simplified.
