Abstract Driving means for a lime feeder including a vertical rotor axle (1), at which radial arms (2) are arranged, in turn supporting vertically downwards extending flat irons (3). On each arm on one side of the flat irons (3) rubber cloths (4) are arranged hanging down from the arms and along the flat irons in such a way that they by water can be pushed against the flat irons constituting a water force taking shovel, where- as they at the influence of water in the opposite direction flexibly are bent away so that the water streams past the flat irons. In this way a driving rotor and rotational movement is obtained when streaming water prevail. Via cranks in the upper end of the axle the driving power can then be taken out to in- fluence a lime feeding device with its hopper.
