A drive through gate includes a gate pivotally mounted at either side along a bottom to a support for movement about a substantially horizontal axis. The gate pivots between a substantially vertical position and a substantially horizontal position. A biasing spring urges the gate to the vertical position. The gate moves to the horizontal position when driven over by a vehicle and returns to the vertical position after the vehicle has passed.

Barrière basculante comprenant une barrière pivotante montée, par un de ses côtés, à un support de façon à se déplacer autour d'un axe essentiellement horizontal. La barrière pivote entre une position essentiellement verticale et une position essentiellement horizontale. Un ressort de compression force la barrière vers la position verticale. La barrière se déplace dans la position horizontale lorsqu'un véhicule lui passe dessus et retourne à la position verticale après le passage du véhicule.
