ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A driver for a construction reinforcement bar for rotatably inserting the bar into a seating position in a drilled hole in rock, masonry, concrete and the like, comprising a body having a plurality of eccentrically mounted cam rollers which are adapted to be pivoted into a gripping engagement with a reinforcement bar when the driver is rotated in one direction and to be released from the bar and moved back into a retracted position when the driver is rotated in the other direction.
