A driving device for a disconnecting or earthing switch (17) incorporates driving parts (25) that can be actuated by means of a coupling set (23) by a hand crank (20). The locking conditions to be respected in the case of a switch gear panel (1) are maintained in that the coupling set only allows the crank handle (20) to be inserted when at least one locking member (36) is available. By means of the locking member (36), a locking body (33) can be moved into the path of the filling body (32) with the same profile as the headpiece (21) of the crank handle (20) and which is axially movable in an endpiece (27) of a shaft (26) for inserting the crank handle (20).
