N1512 A B S T R A C T Driving system for auxiliary equipment Auxiliary equipment 2 in a vehicle such as dynamo, fan, pumps etcetera are coupled to an engine 4 by means of a continuously variable transmission 6. the pump 10 is con- nected to the secondary shaft 9 of the transmission, whereas the rest of the equipment 2 is coupled to the shaft 9 via a controllable clutch 11. Engaging of the clutch 11 takes place with a signal provided by per example a pitot tube 13 fixed to a secondary pulley 8 of the transmission 6 in dependence on the number of revolutions of the shaft 9.
