A drop table is used for accumulating a desired number of sheets of items in a bundle and then dropping the bundle onto a conveyor belt. The drop table has a plurality of rods acting as a floor in a collection box. When the drop table receives a signal from a sheet feeder that the number of items desired is in the bundle the rods are withdrawn from beneath the collection box and the bundle drops to a conveyor belt. The rods are then moved back into position for receiving more sheets to form another bundle and the drop table signals the sheet feeding machine to send more sheets to the collection box. The collection box may have a vibrating jogger to align the sheets into a squared bundle on one axis and a tamping foot to align the sheets into a squared bundle on a second axis. The drop table can accumulate sheets in a squared bundle quickly without jamming and release the bundle onto a conveyor below the collection box.
Une table de récupération est utilisée pour regrouper un nombre désiré de feuilles d'articles dans un paquet puis de laisser tomber le paquet sur une bande transporteuse. La table de récupération est munie d'une pluralité de tiges faisant office de plancher dans un bac collecteur. Lorsque la table de récupération reçoit un signal d'un dispositif d'alimentation en feuilles que le nombre d'articles désiré est regroupé en paquet, les tiges sont retirées par en dessous du bac collecteur et le paquet tombe sur une bande transporteuse. Les tiges sont ensuite remises à leur position pour recevoir d'autres feuilles et former un autre paquet et la table de récupération envoie un signal au dispositif d'alimentation en feuilles d'envoyer d'autres feuilles au bac collecteur. Le bac collecteur peut être muni d'une taqueuse vibrante pour aligner les feuilles en un paquet d'équerre sur un axe et un pied presseur pour aligner les feuilles en un paquet d'équerre dans un second axe. La table de récupération peut regrouper rapidement des feuilles dans un paquet d'équerre sans bloquer et laisser retomber le paquet sur une bande transporteuse sous le bac collecteur.
