In a method of making an ink jet printhead, corrugations (26) are formed by laser ablation in the bonding surface (24) of a polymer nozzle plate (18). Adhesive (28) is applied to the micro-cavities (26) thus formed and the nozzle plate (18) is pressed against the end surface of the printhead until the surface lands in the nozzle plate abut on the surface of the printhead.

Dans un procédé de fabrication d'une tête (26) d'imprimante à jet d'encre, on forme des sillons, par ablation au laser, dans la surface de liaison d'une plaque polymère à gicleurs (18). On applique un adhésif (28) sur les micro-cavités (26) ainsi formées et on presse la plaque à gicleurs (18) contre la surface frontale de la tête d'impression jusqu'à ce que les surfaces entre les sillons de la plaque viennent en butée contre la surface de la tête d'impression.
