A component for a drop on demand printhead having three groups of actuators (210, 220, 230, 402, 404, 406) arranged on a surface forming a central group (404) and two end groups (402, 406) . The electrical connections (424a, 424b) for the central group are split, one portion (424a) extending towards one edge of the surface in one direction, and the remaining portion (424b) extending towards an edge in a different direction. Such components can be butted together to form an array of such components providing improved actuator density along the module, and facilitating improved electrical connection.

Cette invention concerne un composant pour une tête d'impression à jet d'encre contrôlé comportant trois groupes d'actionneurs (210, 220, 230, 402, 404, 406) disposés sur une surface de façon qu'on obtienne un groupe central (404) et deux groupes d'extrémité (402, 406). Les connexions électriques (424a, 424b) pour le groupe central sont divisées, une partie de ces connexions (424a) s'étendant en direction d'un bord de la surface dans une direction, l'autre partie (424b) s'étendant en direction d'un bord dans une direction opposée. Ces composants peuvent être disposés bout à bout de façon qu'ils forment un réseau de tels composants qui offre une plus grande densité d'actionneurs le long du module et améliore la connexion électrique.
