A drug formulation is arranged to be delivered to the respiratory system of a patient comprising about 187,000 U colistin. The present invention also provides the use of a drug formulation comprising colistin to treat cystic fibrosis wherein said formulation is arranged such that about 300,000 units of colistin is delivered from two treatments of about 187,000 units per treatment. There is also provided the use of a drug formulation comprising colistin arranged in a multipart package to treat cystic fibrosis.
