Anti-angiogenesis compositions, and methods of using such compositions, useful for intraocular to treat neovascularization. The compositions can have viscosities at about 25°C. of at least about cps or about 100 cps at a shear rate of 0.1/second. In a preferred embodiment, the viscosity at 25°C. is in the range of from about 80,000 cps to about 300,000 cps.
