The invention relates to the field of biology and medicine, in particular to suppression of the growth of malignant tumors. The object of the present invention is to find more effective and less toxic drugs for suppression of tumor growth. The essence of the proposed invention is that in order to suppress tumor growth, a drug consisting of a biogenic reductant and a complex of cobalt or iron with substituted phthalocyanines (I) or naphthalocyanines (II) is used. (see formula I , II) where R = COONa, SO3Na, CH2C5H5N~C1-, CH2(NH2)2S~CC1-. Use of the proposed drug makes it possible to suppress effectively the growth of a wide range of malignant tumors, in particular to achieve the suppression of proliferation of cancer cells (in vitro), inhibition of the growth of tumors in mice (in vivo) and a substantial increase in their life-span, including that obtained in comparison with use of the prototype.

Cette invention se rapporte au domaine de la biologie et de la médecine, et notamment à l'inhibition de la croissance de tumeurs malignes. La présente invention a pour but de produire des agents plus efficaces et moins toxiques d'inhibition de la croissance tumorale. Cette invention consiste essentiellement en l'utilisation d'un agent de lutte contre la croissance tumorale, lequel agent se compose d'un complexe de cobalt ou de fer comportant des phtalocyanines (I) ou des naphtalocyanines (II) substitués, et d'un agent réducteur biogène. Dans les formules (I) et (II), R représente COONa, SO3Na, CH2C5H4N<+>Cl<->, CH2(NH2)2S<+>CH2Cl<->. L'utilisation de cet agent permet d'inhiber efficacement la croissance d'une gamme étendue de néoplasmes malins, notamment d'inhiber la prolifération de cellules cancéreuses (in vitro), de freiner la croissance de tumeurs chez les souris (in vivo) et d'accroître ainsi sensiblement leur durée de vie, même par rapport à l'utilisation d'un prototype.
