It has been required to establish a highly efficacious therapeutic method for malignant tumor, in particular melanoma, with little side effects and a novel therapeutic method whereby an enhanced therapeutic effect can be achieved in a conventional drug dose.By combining a genetically modified antibody against ganglioside GD3 or its fragment with at least one of a substance capable of activating immunocompetent cells and a substance having an antitumor activity, it is intended to provide drugs having an enhanced therapeutic effect compared with the case of administering either the substance capable of activating immunocompetent cells or the substance having an antitumor activity alone. It is expected that these drugs can relieve the problem of side effects occurring in the conventional single administration.
L'invention concerne un procédé thérapeutique efficace dirigé contre une tumeur maligne, notamment un mélanome, avec peu d'effets secondaires, et un effet thérapeutique prononcé obtenu avec une dose habituelle de médicament. La combinaison d'un anticorps génétiquement modifié, dirigé contre un ganglioside GD3, ou un de ses fragments, et d'au moins une substance pouvant activer des cellules immunocompétentes et d'une substance à activité antitumorale permet d'obtenir des médicaments avec un effet thérapeutique amélioré en comparaison de celui obtenu avec l'administration unique de la substance pouvant activer des cellules immunocompétentes ou de celle de la substance à activité antitumorale. Ces médicaments permettent d'éviter les effets secondaires que l'on observe lors de l'administration habituelle d'une substance unique.
