L'invention concerne l'utilisation de vecteurs viraux capables de s'intégrer de façon stable dans le génome de cellules stromales thymiques ou de lymphocytes ou précurseurs de lymphocytes intrathymiques, dans le but de préparer un médicament conçu pour une administration intrathymique dans le cadre de la prévention ou du traitement d'immunodéficiences génétiques, d'immunodéficiences acquises ou afin d'induire une tolérance immune de l'organisme à des produits génétiques de soi ou non soi, des cellules ou des tissus ou de prévenir ou traiter des maladies auto-immunes.
