ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A drum barker in which a receiving container is open at the bottom portion thereof, a drum-like rotary member having a number of barking teeth mounted thereto is arranged to partly enter the bottom opening of the receiving container, and the rotary member is rotated in such a state to raise logs loaded in the receiving container while rolling those logs for barking.
