A drum-type washing machine includes a resin drum which is rotatably supported in a frame by a horizontal shaft. The resin drum includes a body portion molded out of a synthetic resin, and an end surface is formed at one end of the body portion and the other end is opened. The other end surface for sealing or closing an opening is fixed to the other end of the body portion via a fluid balancer. The fluid balancer includes a hollow annular member and a predetermined amount of saltwater sealed therein. The drum is so constructed that its diameter is increased from the one end to the other end due by utilizing a rapping slope. Therefore, the wash in the drum is moved to the vicinity of the fluid balancer at the other end of the drum along the slope of the inner surface of the drum, thereby to exhibit a maximum balancing effect of the fluid balancer.
Machine à laver du type à tambour comprenant un tambour en résine qui est supporté dans un cadre de façon à tourner au moyen d'un arbre horizontal. Le tambour en résine a un corps moulé à partir d'une résine synthétique, et une surface d'extrémité est constituée à un bout du corps du tambour, et l'autre extrémité est ouverte. Pour fermer de façon étanche une ouverture ou pour l'ouvrir, l'autre surface d'extrémité est rattachée à l'autre extrémité du corps du tambour par un dispositif d'équilibrage à liquide. Ce dispositif comprend un élément creux annulaire et une quantité prédéterminée d'eau salée qui y est scellée. Le tambour est fabriqué de telle sorte que son diamètre augmente d'une extrémité à l'autre à cause de sa forme conique. De ce fait, ce qui est lavé dans le tambour est déplacé près du dispositif d'équilibrage à liquide à l'autre extrémité dudit tambour sur la pente de la surface intérieure de ce dernier, il est ainsi possible d'obtenir un effet d'équilibrage maximal au moyen du dispositif d'équilibrage à liquide.
