The invention relates the use of psyllium seeds or parts of seeds to be incorporated into dry food for dogs in order to reduce the appetite of dogs at a concentration of over 0.2%, preferably over 0.5% and below 4% by weight of said foodstuff. The invention also relates to a dry food for dogs obtained according to the described process.

La présente invention concerne l'utilisation de graines de psyllium ou de parties de graines destinées à être incorporées dans un aliment sec pour chiens afin de réduire l'appétit des chiens à une concentration de plus de 0,2 % en poids dudit aliment, de préférence plus de 0,5 % en poids et moins de 4 % en poids. L'invention concerne aussi un aliment sec pour chiens obtenu selon le processus décrit.
