A dry-powder inhaler device comprising an air inlet (40), an air outlet (4), an assembly comprising a mesh-based package (10) containing a dry-powder drug (16), the assembly being positioned to undergo agitation, the device having an airflow therethrough from the air inlet to the outlet, which airflow at least indirectly causes the agitation and wherein the agitation of the assembly in conjunction with the airflow causes the particles of the dry- powder drug to exit from the mesh-based package and become entrained in the airflow.

Linvention concerne un dispositif inhalateur à poudre sèche comportant une admission dair (40), une sortie dair (4), un ensemble constitué dun emballage de type maille (10) contenant un médicament sous forme de poudre sèche (16), ledit ensemble étant positionné de manière à subir une agitation ; le dispositif possède un écoulement dair qui traverse ledit dispositif depuis ladmission dair jusquà la sortie dair, ledit écoulement dair provoquant au moins indirectement lagitation, et ladite agitation de lensemble, associée à lécoulement dair, provoquant la sortie des particules de poudre sèche dudit emballage de type maille, ainsi que lentraînement desdites particules dans lécoulement dair.
