Dry powder inhalers and dry powder inhaler storage cassettes including a compartment housing an elongate carrier preloaded with a plurality of doses of finely divided powder comprising a biologically active substance, the compartment being configured such that said preloaded doses are sealed within said compartment and such that the carrier may be advanced from the compartment to the chamber through an exit provided with a moisture barrier sealing system, wherein the moisture barrier sealing system is configured and arranged such that it is relaxable during advancement of the carrier, said sealing system being in sealing configuration prior to an advancement of the carrier, relaxed upon an advancement of the carrier and returned to its sealing configuration at the latest after release of the powder associated with said area of the carrier.
L'invention concerne des inhalateurs de poudre sèche et des cassettes de stockage d'inhalateur de poudre sèche comprenant un compartiment logeant un support allongé avec une pluralité de doses de poudre finement divisée contenant une substance biologiquement active, le compartiment étant configuré de sorte que lesdites doses préchargées sont enfermées hermétiquement à l'intérieur dudit compartiment et de sorte que le support puisse avancer du compartiment à la chambre via une sortie pourvue d'un système d'étanchéité anti-humidité, ledit système d'étanchéité anti-humidité étant configuré de façon à pouvoir être relâché au cours de l'avancement du support, ledit système d'étanchéité étant en configuration étanche avant un avancement du support et retournant à sa configuration de fermeture hermétique au plus tard après la libération de la poudre associée à ladite zone du support.
