ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE Dry transfer materials such as lettering sheets are described which can be used on artwork which is to be subjected to thermal copying. To ensure the indicia stay in position during such copying, the indicia are formed on the basis of a cross-linked polymeric material matrix containing carbon black to give a non-thermopolastic heat stable film indicium and the adhesive comprises an acrylic polymeric material containing groups capable of cross-linking. -1-
