ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A dry transfer material comprising a carrier sheet of from about 0.001 inch to 0.0025 inch thickness, which may in- clude a polymeric coating or a release chemical treatment, inked indicia printed thereon, and a pressure sensitive adhe- sive overlying said indicia, said dry transfer material being self-adherent to surfaces, without fastening or external sup- port, prior to transfer of the indicia, under the application of light rubbing or burnishing.
