ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An automatic clothes dryer includes a dryer control circuit having at least one manually operable switch for initiating momentary tumbling of a dryer drum after the end of a drying cycle. A lock-out relay disconnects power from a main motor winding of the dryer drum drive motor upon the motor reaching operating speed so that the rotation of the dryer drum is restricted to less than a complete revolution of the drum, thereby to reposition any random articles in the drum for more convenient removal.
