A dryer section of a paper machine which is provided with at least one intermediate calendering nip and includes several successively arranged wire groups. The dryer section primarily or exclusively has groups with single-wire draw in which heated drying cylinders are arranged in an upper row and reversing suction cylinders or reversing suction rolls are arranged in a lower row below the upper row. The groups with single-wire draw also have a drying wire which runs along a meandering path over the drying cylinders and reversing suction cylinders or rolls so that the reversing suction cylinders remain inside the loop of the drying wire. Two calender rolls are arranged to form the calendering nip through which a paper web to be dried is passed, and thus calendered inside the dryer section, immediately preceding or following or within one or more of the dryer groups of the dryer section.
L'invention a trait à un module de cylindre sécheur de machine à papier possédant au moins un rouleau pinceur de calandrage intermédiaire et comprenant plusieurs groupes de tables de fabrication disposées à la suite. Le module de cylindre sécheur est essentiellement ou exclusivement composé de groupes d'entraînement de toile unique où des cylindres sécheurs chauffés sont disposés en une rangée supérieure et où des cylindres d'aspiration à inversion de marche ou des rouleaux aspirants à inversion de marche sont disposés en une rangée inférieure sous la rangée supérieure. Les groupes à entraînement de toile unique possèdent également une toile de séchage se déplaçant selon une trajectoire à méandres au-dessus des cylindres sécheurs et des cylindres ou rouleaux à inversion de marche de manière que ces cylindres d'aspiration à inversion de marche restent dans la boucle de la toile de séchage. Deux cylindres de calandrage constituent le rouleau pinceur de calandrage traversé par la bande continue de papier à sécher, ce qui entraîne son calandrage dans le module sécheur, précédant ou suivant immédiatement un ou plusieurs groupes sécheurs du module sécheur ou encore à l'intérieur du ou des groupes sécheurs.
